1. Activities of the Centre
The Centre has been part of a collaboration between NILAS (Nordic Institute for Latin-American Studies, Stockholm University) and SINAS (Swedish Institute for North-American Studies, Uppsala University) that began in 2023. The goal of this collaboration is to organize joint activities, including conferences, workshops, and publications. A joint workshop for PhD students was held on 18-19 March 2025 at Uppsala University and it will go on in March 2026.
The Centre has had contacts with the Swedish Authority for Higher Education regarding the preparation of a visit by the Swedish university rectors to Canada, which will take place in March 2026.
The Centre also contributed to disseminating research outcomes through the publication of four articles in The Conversation:
- Premat, C. (2025). How Mark Carney and King Charles understand the power of performance. The Conversation.
