Workshops

Our mission is to promote and support the development of teaching at the university. Our workshops are aimed at all teaching staff and educational managers at Stockholm University, regardless of subject affiliation. We strive to offers workshops on a variety of teaching and learning topics, designed to meet the needs of both seasoned professionals and newcomers.

Our workshop program

We have an ongoing workshop program running each semester. Choose from workshops on current pedagogical teaching methods, learn to use digital teaching tools, work with inclusive teaching or try out new forms of assessment, etc.

Workshops to build teaching merits

Build on your pedagogical portfolio. Participate in three workshops and write a reflective text on one, or all of the topics as part of your professional development as a university teacher. The work corresponds to 1,5 credits within the framework of training in teaching and learning in higher education .

• Attend three CeUL workshops

• In relation to one of the three workshops you attend, write a text (approx 2-3 A4 pages) reflecting on the topic of the workshop in relation to the work that you do/or will potentially do as a university teacher.
• E-mail your workshop reflection to the CeUL office for examination. Feel free to write your text in Swedish or in English. Email to CeUL office: ceul@su.se

Having submitted the written reflections, and attending three workshops, you will receive a course certificate corresponding 1,5 credits. This possibility is intended to be an integral part of your continual professional development. Please note that we only exam these written reflections during semester periods and not during the summer.

Tailor-made workshops for your department

Book inspiring and skill-building workshops on teaching and learning for your department. The workshops encourage, promote and support conversations about higher education pedagogy and offer an opportunity to immerse yourself in and discuss issues that are relevant to you.

The workshop is organised in collaboration with CeUL, which takes care of the organisation and the department hosts the event.
