Degrees
The final step upon completing your studies is to apply for a degree. Regardless of whether your degree is at the bachelor, master or doctoral level, it serves as a certification of your knowledge and the skills you have obtained in your studies.
To be awarded a certain degree, you must meet the requirements for that degree. These exist on both national and local levels. All degrees in astronomy have requirements, such as certain amount of higher education credits and mandatory courses.

When you have completed your studies at Stockholm University you are welcome to apply for your certificate at the Student Services. The certificate is issued upon request and is free of charge.
