Welcome to the Department of Child and Youth Studies!

The Department of Child and Youth Studies conducts teaching and research in Child and Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education and School-Age Education and Care and Children's Culture. We offer courses for international students within the subjects fields of Early Childhood Education and School-Age Education and Care.

Courses and Programmes

We offer three courses in Early Childhood Education and Care at first level. The content corresponds to courses given the third semester in our Swedish Preschool Teacher Education Programme.

The Department has a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment, with the subjects of Child and Youth Studies and Early Childhood Education studies.
