Incoming exchange students
We welcome students from our partner universities to come and study with us. We can offer courses in Early childhood education and care as well as in School-age educare. Through the information below you can learn more about course selection, the application process and other practical details for you as an exchange student.

The basic requirement for entering Stockholm University as an exchange student is that you have been accepted as an exchange student through a formal exchange programme or similar agreement between your university and Stockholm University.
As prospective exchange student you should start with approaching the relevant international exchange coordinator in your home institution.
The first step for you as a future exchange student is to contact the International Coordinator at your university to find out more about how and when to apply to be nominated for exchange.

Buddy program
The Departments involved in teacher education at Stockholm University offers incoming exchange students within teacher education/educational sciences to join the buddy program.
It´s an opportunity to get to know local teacher education studentens and join some fun activities during your studie time.
Learning Swedish
While it is true that nearly everyone in Sweden speaks English, it is also true that nothing immerses you in a culture better than living and learning the language.
