The Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV) has an ongoing collaboration with The National Museum of Science and Technology since a few years back. An important part of this collab is that the students at DSV’s Bachelor Programme in Computer Game Development get to present the games they develop to the visitors of the museum.
This year, the students will demo six games on January 17–18:
- Triquest
- a.r.e.n.a
- Kunai Cat
- Hotel Eterna
- Out of Your Element
- Magic of Nimurath
Museum visitors can play the games, give feedback, and ask all their questions to the students. How does one come up with a new idea for a game? How do you work in teams to create a story, animate, add sound, and build the game experience? And what’s it like to study at DSV?
