About us
The Department of Education has expanded considerably in recent years. Today we have about 8 000 active students in our various courses and programmes, from first to third level. We welcome exchange students from all over the world.

Education on all levels
Our department provides university education on all levels. We offer a wide range of programmes, including Bachelor of Arts in Study and Career Guidance Programme, Bachelor's Programme in Personnel, Work and Organization and the Vocational Teacher Education Programme.
We also provide courses within the Teacher Education Programme. We have several master's programmes, including an international programme with students from all over the world. We also train principals in The National School Leadership Training Programme.
The Centre for the Advancement of University Teaching (CeUL), which conducts competence training for university teachers, is also domiciled at the department.
The department in numbers
- 180 employees, including 100 researchers, just over 30 doctoral students, and 40 administrators
- 8,000 students
- 7 programmes at bachelor's level and master's level, and one Phd programme
- about 100 courses
Since summer 2009 you will find us in a red brick house in the northern part of campus, Frescativägen 54, just behind the Swedish Museum of Natural History. It may seem a bit hard to find us. But when you see the sculpture The Pearl by Frida Tebus beside the entrance, then you are here. Welcome!
