The department, which welcomes over 170 new students each semester, provides the largest bachelor level education of history in the country. We offer courses and programs in History and in Cultural Studies. The department organizes the Doctoral School for PhD Students of History in collaboration with Uppsala University. Our courses and programs are mainly taught in Swedish as the language of instruction, but we also offer a few courses in English.
