Legal and Ethical Frameworks for Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Healthcare Sector

In July 2023, Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Symbiosis International University (SIU), India was awarded the prestigious SPARC Project by the Ministry of Education, Government of India through its National Coordinating agency IIT Kharagpur. The title of the said SPARC Project is “Legal and Ethical Framework for Use of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Sector with special reference to Patient Safety”. This project is carried out with experts from the two prestigious partners - Stockholm University, Sweden and University of Milan, Italy.

From Stockholm University, researchers from the Department of Law and the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences are participating in the project.
