Research subjects

The Department of Linguistics offers a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment. Our research is conducted within two main areas: Linguistics and Sign Language.

The area of Linguistics includes four research subjects: child language development, computational linguistics, general linguistics and phonetics. The area of Sign Language includes the research subjects multilingualism in the deaf and hard of hearing and sign language linguistics.
