A tribute to Sverker Lerheden

The late Sverker Lerheden has given great contributions to research, by donations as well as bequeathment. He expressed a wish in his testament for honoring philanthropy, which is how the event in Uppsala Castle came about. The event was a joint venture by Sweden´s agricultural university (SLU), Uppsala university, Stockholm university and the Royal Technical university (KTH).

The representatives from our institution were given the opportunity to share how the institution´s research has benefitted from Sverker Lerhedens contributions. During the afternoon there was also a panel discussion about the importance of philanthrophy, a live music performance and a folk dance performance. The event was rounded off with a mingle among the guests.
