Find the Section for Cinema Studies | The Film House
The offices of the Section for Cinema Studies are situated in The Film House, based at Borgvägen 1-5 at the edge of the Gärdet plain. This is where you will be studying, teaching or conducting research in Cinema Studies.
We operate on the 4th, 5th and 6th Floor

In The Film House, run by the Swedish Film Institute, you will find lecture halls, seminar rooms, Sweden's only special library for film literature and the movie theatres. A totally unique environment for learning and research.
4th Floor - the ground floor
The 4th Floor houses the movie theatres, the library for film literature, and restaurant. The movie theatres are used for lectures and screenings.

5th Floor (uppgång B)
At the 5th Floor (uppgång B) you will find the lecture hall F-salen and seminar rooms Sem-1 and Sem 2. You can easily get here if you just take the stairs on the right hand side of the library.

6th Floor (uppgång B)
The 6th Floor (uppgång B) houses the Student Affairs Offices, the Student Counsellors, as well as our researchers and teachers. There is a student area here as well, fully equipped with refrigerator, freezer, micro wave ovens, and study spaces.
