From undergraduate to PhD

It is with us that you can find a unique opportunity to study exactly what you want to immerse yourself in. Our four subjects Cinema Studies, Journalism, Media and Communication Studies and Fashion Studies you will probably not find gathered in one department anywhere else.

Students and researchers come here literally from all over the world and contribute with both knowledge and diversity. From the undergraduate courses to the doctoral programs there are international students. Many of our courses are therefore also given in English. Researchers, Guest Professors and teachers come here because of the Department's qualities and contribute in keeping our education at a high level.

Study free standing courses, enroll in a Master's programme taught in English, get a degree and qualify for a PhD programme

For Swedish speaking students you can get a Bachelor's degree with us, but if you speak English why not also get a Master's degree? You can do this in all our four subjects, three of the subjects also have International master's programs that are given entirely in English. After that the path is open for PhD studies in all our subjects. Or why not take one or more of our Free standing courses, yes, also in English.

Study abroad -while being abroad

One of the reasons why many of our students are international comes from our exchange agreements. As a student with us, you can also take the chance and get memories and expanded knowledge for life. The department has exchange agreements within Europe / the Nordic countries. Take the opportunity to study a semester or two abroad. It provides a fantastic experience - and you can use your studies abroad in your degree.
