Open positions at MISU
For the time being we do not have any open positions.
All open positions at the Department of Meteorology, including all PhD positions, are announced at Stockholm University's central website, where you can find information about the application process.
Planned announcements for PhD position openings
The department makes up to four calls for PhD student positions annually, using one or more of the periods listed below. During 2026, calls will be made to fill at least one position. Once this position are filled, the remaining periods will only be used if additional positions become available.
Possible periods for PhD position announcements in 2026:
- 2 April – closing date 23 April.
- 15 October – closing date 5 November.
Two additional periods may be added during the year if needed, which will be announced here.
