Summer information
During the summer, many of us are on vacation and it takes longer to get a response when you contact us.
If you have urgent questions about, for example, admission, graduation or other matters, you can contact the Infocenter at Stockholm University.
Most of us will be back from summer vacation in mid-August. Questions about registration, schedules, certificates, etc. can be asked to the respective student office. If you have specific questions about eligibility, study programs or other matters, you are welcome to contact one of our study counselors.

Admitted or reserve
If you are admitted or are reserve/on a waiting list for a course or program with us, below is information about important things to consider. The semester starts on August 31st.
Admission notification
The admission notification for the autumn 2026 will be published on July 10th. Go to My pages on antagning.se/universityadmissions.se to read and respond to it.
You must accept the courses you have been admitted to or on reserve for by July 20th, otherwise you will lose your place. You can do this on antagning.se/universityadmissions.se at "My pages".
Course/program information
During mid-July, course information will be sent to admitted and reserve students via the email address you provided when applying via antagning.se. This applies to courses starting on August 31st. If you are going to take a course later in the semester, you will receive information a few weeks before the course starts. Note! We only send information via email. Monitor the email address you used when applying. Also keep an eye on your spam folder.
Registration is normally done in advance, before the start of the course, via Ladok. Read what applies to your particular course/program in the information letter that is sent out.
If you are admitted/reserve in the second selection (around July 23rd), you do not need to respond via antagning.se and information will be sent to you via email a week before the course starts.
Admitted with conditions?
Are you admitted with conditions to one or more courses? Then you must prove your eligibility or apply for an exemption no later than one week before the course introduction.
Mandatory course and program introductions
The roll call for courses and programs that start at the beginning of the semester are in most cases on August 31st. Information about when and where the roll call will take place will be sent by email from mid-July.
If you are unable to attend the mandatory call/course introduction, you must notify the respective student office in advance. Absence at the call is interpreted as a waiver of the study place and the place will therefore go to a reserve student.
Distance courses
If you are accepted to one of our distance courses, you also follow the instructions in the email sent to you. There will be no roll call, but you need to register before the course starts.
New student, about university account and registration
If you are a new student at Stockholm University, you need to activate your university account. With this, you can then register for the courses and gain access to the university's resources.
Schedule
Schedules for courses are available in TimeEdit. You can find schedules here (search by name or course code):
