Fysikum is located on the AlbaNova campus which is situated between Frescati campus and KTH at Vallhallavägen. The AlbaNova campus is home to education and research in physics, astronomy and biotechnology at both Stockholm University and the Royal Institute of Technology. This makes it easier for our two universities to learn from each other and develop collaborative projects. Karolinska Institutet now also collaborates here.

Find your way around the premises
The rooms at AlbaNova are numbered according to three parallel systems.
A, B, C, and D apply to the respective wings of the main building, R to the rotunda in the main building, M to rooms in building 2, and P to rooms in building 1. Room FB52 is located on floor 5 in building B of the main building.
A, B, C, or D indicates which wing the room is located in. Room A4:1029 is located on floor 4 in wing A of the main building.
Room 023:0018 is located on floor three in the science wing, which was previously designated 2, hence the number 023 (the purple building in the picture below).
