Computer Committee

The Computer Committee advises the Board on matters relating to the institution's common computer systems and networks and the computer support provided by Fysikum to its users. This includes issues of coordination with and interaction between common and unit-specific systems. In its work, the Computer Committee shall take into account the needs of research, undergraduate education and other activities at Fysikum. The Computer Committee shall also monitor and, where necessary, seek to influence the development of the systems on which Physikum depends, such as the services of the IT department and the services provided by AlbaNova.

The Computer Committee is a users' forum where users' needs and opinions can be raised.

If necessary, the Computer Committee will initiate investigations and make proposals concerning both the organisation of computer support and the allocation of resources from a strategic perspective.
