Docent Committee

The Docent Committee:

• Advises the Head of Department when a researcher wishes to be consulted about submitting an application for a doctorate.
• Assist the members of the Faculty's Doctoral Committee in the assessment of teaching examinations carried out by researchers seeking doctoral qualifications.

The role of the Doctoral Committee in relation to the Doctoral Lecture is as follows:

• The committee must pre-approve the subject of the teaching examination (delegated by the Head of Department).
• At least three members must be present at the teaching examination.
• The committee meets immediately after the teaching test, together with the examination board members present at the test, who take the decision after consulting the Docent Committee.
• The committee is responsible for advertising the lecture in the usual way and electronically.
