PR Committee

The mission for the committee is to initiate and coordinate activities to increase the recruitment of students to the Physics Department:

• Initiate and coordinate activities to increase the recruitment of students to the Physics Department.
• Create interest in physics in the community at large.
• Compile and coordinate the outreach activities of the Physics Department.
• Ensure that Physics outreach websites, brochures, etc. are kept up to date.
• Preparing budget requests.
• The Committee shall report on its activities, including on Fysikum's website.

Alternates may be appointed for research departments and students.

In addition, other persons with an interest and knowledge of the issues of the Committee may be included.
Undergraduate directors of studies and representatives of public relations activities selected by the Committee Chair have the right to attend and speak and shall be invited to participate.
Student advisors in meteorology and astronomy shall be informed of the opportunity to participate.
