Open Seminar with Rosaria Galanti on the tricks, traps and thorns of public health interventions
Wednesday March 25, Professor Emerita Rosaria Galanti from Karolinska Institutet will give a seminar in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Stockholm University's seminar series PHS Talks. In her talk, Galanti will discuss the inherent complexity of public health interventions and examine some of these challenges and methodological cues to address them.

Seminar title: Tricks, traps and thorns of studies on public health interventions
Rosaria Galanti is a physician with experience from public health research at Karolinska Institutet and applied public health at the Stockholm County Council. She has worked as adjunct professor in epidemiology at the Department of Public Health Sciences, research group Epidemiology and Public Health Intervention Research (EPHIR) and is now professor emerita.
Galanti’s main research interests are epidemiology of tobacco use, school environments’ influence on mental health among adolescents, and intervention evaluation research. She developed and taught courses on methods of outcome evaluation of public health interventions and has recently received a new grant from FORTE for her research on tobacco and nicotine use among young adults.
The seminar is arranged by the Department of Public Health Sciences, Stockholm University.
