Yoko Yamazaki among the first Human Past Fellowship Programme awardees

Center for the Human Past have announced the first Human Past Fellowship Programme 2024-25 awardees. In the autumn, they are joined by Yoko Yamazaki, a researcher in the Department of Slavic and Baltic Studies, Finnish, Dutch and German, Stockholm University, as an Advanced Fellow, and Axel Palmér, a guest researcher at Leiden University, as a Junior Fellow. The second Advanced Fellowship was awarded to Mehmet Somel, a distinguished researcher in human evolution and genetics at the Middle East Technical University, for the spring term of the academic year 2024-25. We extend our warmest congratulations to all three awardees!
