Join us for a conversation between two leading anthropologists who have recently written books about a daughter and sister, respectively, who are unable to speak and need ongoing support. Combining personal experience with analytical engagement Om Nadja: En systers berättelse (Ambjörnsson) and Beautiful Mystery: Living in a Wordless World (Rutherford) speak to critical themes such as care, dependency, and communication beyond language. 

Fanny Ambjörnsson is Professor of Gender Studies at Stockholm University
Danilyn Rutherford is President of the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research
