- Goal: More environmentally friendly food for meetings and conferences
- “Choose local rather than imported products”, “choose vegetarian options rather than meat” and "there should always be a vegan option".
- Informed about the recommendation via email. Say that all purchases must be done from procured suppliers.

Travel
- Goal: Reduce the Department's emissions generated by business trip by 25% of emissions for 2019.
- Remind about our travel policy in connection with major conferences, for example the conference in Hamburg in the spring of 2024.
Encourage train travel when this is possible.
Produce comparative travel statistics for our institution with other similar institutions and present the results to employees.
Discuss air travel with environmental representatives at other similar institutions and find good examples.

IT/Energy
- Reduce the energy consumption from computers and other IT products.
- Inform via email about the advantages to the environment of using VPN instead of remote desktop.
- Monitor the percentage of employees using remote desks. Find a simple solution to get statistics on this.

Indicator: The indicator "energy use kWh for the institution" is not currently available. The climate tool data for this is currently aggregated and does not reflect the institution's own emissions, but a standardised figure. Measure of how many employees use remote desktops and have their work computer running 24/7.
