Travel from Stockholm airports

On this page you will find information about how to get to Stockholm from various airports as well as how to get around in Stockholm via public transports.

Stockholm is served by four airports, and travel options depend on which airport you fly to. Below are some of the options available from each airport.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport (Svedavia)

The Arlanda Express train service

The Arlanda Express train service will take you to Stockholm Central Station in 18 minutes.

Trains: Arlanda Express, Commuter trains, Regional trains, Long distance trains

Pendeltåg / Commuter train

The pendeltåg / commuter train (from Uppsala Central station) to Stockholm Central Station stops in SkyCity (between Terminal 4 and 5). It is operated by Stockholm Public Transport (SL). Travel time is approx. 38 minutes.

The Airport coaches (Flygbussarna)

The Airport coaches (Flygbussarna) operates a regular bus service to Stockholm C (Cityterminalen). Travel time is approx. 48 minutes. Alternative destinations are Liljeholmen (49 min.) and Brommaplan (49 min.).

The Airport coaches (Flygbussarna) operates a regular bus service to Stockholm C (Cityterminalen). Travel time is approx. 20 minutes.

Tram (tvärbanan)

The tram (tvärbanan) no 31 will take you from Bromma Airport to the metro (tunnelbana) station Alvik, where you can take the green line to T-centralen (Stockholm C) (destination Hagsätra no 19, Farsta strand no 18 or Skarpnäck no 17). Travel time is approx. 30 minutes (9 + 13).

The Airport coaches (Flygbussarna)

The Airport coaches (Flygbussarna) operates a regular bus service to Stockholm City / Cityterminalen. Travel time is approx. 80 minutes. Please note that the bus does not leave until 30–45 minutes after landing.
