Application for visiting research fellows

SUITS is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for Fellow Residencies for scholars seeking a hosting institution. We do not offer funding but provide a supportive research environment to scholars whose work is funded by other institutions. Limited travel grants for conferences and/or research may be available for our Resident Fellows.

We especially encourage applications from scholars applying to RJ (Riksbankens Jubileumsfond), VR (Vetenskapsrådet), and MSCA Fellowships (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions), but other funding sources will also be considered . We also encourage applications from members of traditionally underrepresented groups.

Application Process

Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Please send your application request to SUITS at least two months before the grant deadline. Materials should be mailed to suits@suits.su.se with “Fellowship Application” and your name in the subject line. You may also ask project-specific questions not answered in the guidelines.

Required materials

• CV
• 1-page project plan including funding source or potential funding sources and relevance to SUITS research areas
• The names and contact information for 2 potential recommenders
• 2 short, relevant writing samples in English.
