You can now record your digital lectures at Språkstudion

For many years, Språkstudion's experienced sound technicians have supported SU staff in various types of audio and video production in Språkstudion’s recording studio in Södra Huset. Now, this studio has been equipped with a teacher’s station for individual recording of distance learning lectures or other supplementary teaching material.

"We have seen a need for this and have therefore created a place where you can easily get started with tools that you are already used to," Andreas Johansson, IT, media and sound technician at Språkstudion, explains. "You can record directly via Zoom, which is a tool that most people are familiar with. You can also use the program Camtasia, in which you can both record and edit videos. Camtasia is a program that has been used at the university for a long time and there are also courses in Camtasia."

The new teacher’s station has all the equipment you need for your recording, including a high-resolution screen and good lighting. Anyone who wants to book the station must start by taking a short, mandatory training course, but can then book the station for individual use at their leisure.
