The apprenticeship model through a prism of hybrid work – unintended professional role identity tensions

As hybrid work practices increasingly influence organizations, new questions arise regarding professional identity formation. Drawing on an interview study with management consultancies and professional role identity, this paper identifies tensions and how they hamper junior professionals’ professional identity formation.
