Searching for information
The library offers support on the different stages of information retrieval, including guidance on formulating a search question, choice of search terms and databases and conducting and documenting your search. We also give advice on developing a search strategy for systematic reviews.
Reference management software
Reference management software can be very useful in academic writing.
The programme helps you to:
- Collect your references to articles, books, reports, etc. in one place.
- Organise your references in the programme library.
- Create citations and references in Word in any reference style.
- Share references with others in group libraries.
- Remove duplicates.
There are various reference management software that offer similar features. Below you will find information on two of the most common programmes, Zotero and EndNote.
Writing and publishing
As a researcher or PhD student at Stockholm University, you can get support from the library regarding academic publishing. The library also offers support for printing doctoral theses. For those who use LaTex and RichText, the library offers the editing tool Overleaf.
