Checklist for new students
Thank you for choosing Stockholm University! In order to ensure that your studies begin as smoothly as possible we have compiled a short checklist for the beginning of term.

1. Get access to IT services, your university account and order a university card
Before your studies begin you need to get a university account and order a university card.
2. Register at your department
Once you have been admitted to Stockholm University you need to register at your department.
3. Welcome activities
In collaboration with Stockholm University Student Union, Stockholm University organises a series of welcome activities that stretch over a few weeks at the beginning of each semester.
4. Join a student union
Become a member to get access to a wide variety of benefits and discounts and get the chance to influence your education.
