Arabic with Middle Eastern and North African Studies IV
In this course, the student deepens the knowledge of Arabic by reading and analyzing modern Arabic texts. In-depth practice is also given in speaking and writing in modern standard Arabic.
The course also includes studies of the Middle East's media landscape and provides a gender studies perspective on the Middle East and North Africa.
The course consists of four modules.

4. Gender and feminism in the Middle East, 7.5 credits (ECTS)

Teaching Format
The teaching consists of lectures and seminars.
Attendance at all classes is mandatory.

Assessment
Text reading III, 7.5 credits is examined by two written assignments.
Language Proficiency IV, 7.5 credits (ECTS) is examined by written and oral assignments.
Media and change in the Middle East, 7.5 credits (ECTS) and Gender and feminism in the Middle East, 7.5 credits (ECTS) are examied ny written assignments.
The principles for the examinations are stated in the grading criteria.
