Middle Eastern literature
This course will give an introduction to Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Hebrew literature with a special focus on Arabic classic and modern prose. During the course the student will also read and discuss two translated novels.
The course consists of one module of 7.5 credits.

Assessment
The course is examined through a written assignment, in the form of a home exam, and an oral presentation of a fictional work.
