Welcome to us - The Department of Media Studies! This is how you register for our programmes:

Time line for the start of the Fall Semester 2026

  • July 13: Welcome emails to admitted Master's Programme students (that start their first semster) from the International application round
  • August 5: Welcome emails will start being sent from us to those admitted to courses- to the email address in antagning.se/universityadmissions.se
  • August 5 - August 23: Online registration for all programs (unless otherwise stated in the welcome email). Online registration period for all courses (unless otherwise stated in the welcome email). NOTE: To keep your place, you must register online, unless otherwise noted. The welcome email contains all the information you need for online registration.
  • From 24/8: reserves can be accepted: from this date, reserves can be accepted. You will be contacted via email and will have to respond quickly to accept your place.
  • August 31: Start of the Fall semester.

EXCEPTIONS FROM ONLINE REGISTRATION:

  • Exchange students - follow instructions from our international coordinator

WEB REGISTRATION PERIOD

You register online at student.ladok.se. If you do not register by the deadline, you will lose your place.

  • Period 1: For courses starting in Period 1 (when the spring semester begins), online registration is open: 5/8 – 23/8
  • Period 2: For courses starting in Period 2 (second half of the spring semester), online registration is open: 5/8 – 19/10

Reserves
From 24/8: reserves can be accepted.
