Lithuanian: Text Analysis

If you have been accepted to the course, then you will receive more information concerning registration in August. The course starts week 36.

The course provides a deeper understanding of basic linguistic structures through the analysis and translation of words, expressions, and sentences in simpler Lithuanian fiction and nonfiction.



Teaching Format

The teaching consists of seminars and (group) exercises. Mandatory components: participation in seminars on campus or via online meeting services, the university's learning platform, or other web services, and the deadline for submitting written assignments are mandatory parts of the course.

Assessment

The course is examined continuously through a written assignment and oral presentation associated with each seminar session. The principles for combining the individual examination tasks are outlined in the grading criteria. The examination is conducted in English and Lithuanian.

Examiner

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.


Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.

The teacher agrees with the students which texts shall be analyze. The texts will be provided via the learning platform.
