Gender Economics

This is a course about gender differences on the labour market, discussing social insurance, family formation and preferences.

The main focus of the course is on gender differences on the labour market and will cover both theoretical and empirical studies.

The course will provide you with a knowledge of the literature on gender economics and a critical perspective when assessing empirical studies. 

This is a 7.5 credit course.

Teaching Format

Instruction is given in the form of lectures. The language of instruction is English.


Assessment

The course is examined based on a written exam.

Examiner
