Applied Environmental Geochemistry

The course deals with geochemical processes in the environment and their role for society.

We take up anthropogenic changes to soil, water, and sediment. Topics include drinking water, sewage treatment, mine waste, contaminated soil, coastal eutrophication, and atmospheric greenhouse gases. Environmental monitoring data are used for environmental health assessment and practical recommendations for remediation.







The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
