Knowledge Management in Computer and Systems Sciences - distance

The course will introduce methods, models and IT tools that can be used to find, gather, interpret, convert and represent, organise, store, spread and reuse knowledge in an organisation.

The course will also discuss major issues in information and knowledge management and alternative solutions to address these issues.

Course content:

  • Concepts, theories, methods and strategies for knowledge management in an organization.
  • IT and other digital tools for knowledge management.
  • Practical application of concepts, theories, methods and strategies in knowledge management.


Teaching Format

The teaching consists of an introductory lecture and seminars.
The language of instruction is English.
The teaching is online and takes place remotely.


Assessment

The course is examined through a remote written exam and assignments.

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
