Business Process Design and Intelligence within the IT area

This course covers how business processes can be designed and analysed by utilizing IT.

Especially how a certain kind of information systems, namely Business process management systems (BPMS) can support the administration of work in organisations. These systems are configured on the basis of (usually graphical) process models.



Teaching Format

The teaching consists of lectures, supervision and seminar.


Assessment

The course is examined as follows: 

  • on-campus examination and
  • written assignments.

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
