Decision Support Methods

The course aims to provide basic knowledge on decision support methods and decision analysis, ability to structure and evaluate decision problems and to analyse and evaluate different solutions.

After the course the student will be able to:

  • account for and deal with different risk and decision theoretical concepts and models,
  • model and evaluate simple decision problems,
  • handle problems with multiple criteria and
  • generate and handle decision parameters.



Teaching Format

This is an online distance course.


Assessment

The course examination consists of a written assignments.

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
