Japanese II

The course delementary skills in oral and written Japanese as students practise their Japanses reading and listening comprehension.

It increases knowledge of grammar and vocabulary in order to increase ability in spoken everyday language.

1. Grammar II, 7.5 credits
2. Kanji II, 5 credits
3. Practical Language Proficiency II, 5 credits
4. Japanese culture, 5 credits

Teaching Format

Instruction is given in the form of lectures and excercises, individually and in groups.

Attendance at all teaching sessions is mandatory.

Assessment

Grammar II, 7.5 credits, is continuously examined through a maximum of three formative examination sessions as well as a summative classroom exam at the end of the course.

Kanji II, 5.0 credits, is examined through a classroom exam.

Practical language skills II, 5.0 credits, is examined through 2-3 written assignments and oral presentations of these.

Japanese culture, 5.0 credits, is examined through one or two written assignments in the form of a home exam.

Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
