International Law and the Global Economy

International Law and the Global Economy is given as an elective course within the framework of the exchange programmes at the Department of Law, Stockholm University. Swedish law students admitted by the department are also given access to the course.

In the course the international economic law is also treated from an economic and political perspective and is set in the context of other areas of law, such as environmental law and human rights. The course begins with a short recap of public international law.

Teaching Format
Instruction is given in the form of lectures, seminars and practical exercises. The language of instruction is English.
Assessment
Examination is conducted through active participation in seminars, through oral and written assignments, and through a written in-class examination.
