Language in Use

Language in Useprovides a theoretical and methodological basis for linguistic analysis above sentence level, by offering a broad orientation in current theories and methods in discourse and interaction analysis.
It also aims to provide experience in applying these methods to linguistic data and to analyse and discuss linguistic data by drawing on current discourse theoretical approaches.
Teaching Format
The course is based on lectures and seminars.
Assessment
The course is examined through written assignments and a written report.
