International Signing

This distance course provides you, who already have proficiency in sign language, with deeper knowledge of international signing.

This course is intended for those who are proficient in at least one national sign language. You will be introduced to both theoretical and practical perspectives on international signing.

The course provides a foundational understanding of key concepts related to international signing and helps you develop basic skills in both comprehension and expression in various communicative contexts.

The course also includes elements of using international signing in interpretational settings.







The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.


Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
