Research Methodology for Computer and Systems Sciences - distance

The course will present concepts for artifact design in social and institutional practices with a focus on digital artifacts.

We will discuss principles and methods for design science research and their relation to empirical research methods. Further the course will present concepts and principles for social and ethical consequences of design science research and give tools for documentation and presentation of design science research results.



Teaching Format

The teaching activities consist of lectures, seminars and tutoring.
The language of instruction is English.
The teaching is web-based and takes place remotely.


Assessment

 The course is examined through:

  • remote written exam and
  • assignments
