Open e-governance and e-democracy - distance
The course describes the history of eGovernment and eDemocracy and tackles the growing phenomenon of Open government by discussing how IT has transformed the public sector.
This course focuses on democratic theories within that framework as well as theories of public administration and information systems. Moreover, a number of case studies of eGovernment are presented and discussed.
Teaching Format
- The teaching activities consist of lectures and tutoring.
- The language of instruction is English.
- The teaching is online and takes place remotely.
Assessment
The course is examined through a remote written exam and assignments.
