Software Security

The course's intent is for students to gain the knowledge required to make them useful contributing members of a software development team where security of the product is taken seriously.

Programming ability is not presumed given that the student may choose to specialise in for example managerial aspects and standards, besides covering architectures, vulnerabilities, problem discovery, avoidance and mitigation etc.



Teaching Format

The teaching consists of lectures and seminars.


Assessment

The course is examined as follows: 

  • written examination
  • written assignments

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
