Quantitative data management, descriptive analysis, and statistical modelling

The aim of the course is to provide students with a practical introduction to both basic and advanced statistical analysis and modelling.

The course includes a review of statistical concepts and measures, different types of bivariate associations, and regression models used in analysing relationships between multiple variables. After completing the course, students will be able to handle quantitative datasets, generate and interpret descriptive statistics, carry out statistical analyses such as correlation, t-tests, chi-square tests, ANOVA, and regression analysis, as well as understand the importance of confounding, mediating, and moderating factors.

Detailed information will be shared with registered students in the learning platform Canvas.

You will also find more information in the course plan.

Teaching Format
