Trends in cognition

The overall aim of the course is to provide the participants with advanced knowledge and an understanding of current research in cognitive psychology.

The course covers central themes and perspectives within cognition, as well as key trends and phenomena at the interdisciplinary front lines of cognitive science.

The thematic content of the course, which usually receives limited attention in basic cognitive psychology courses, includes outstanding issues in cognitive psychology. For example, the content may include subjects such as affective cognition, evolutionary psychology, comparative cognition, cognitive training, metacognition and situated cognition.
