Qualitative interviewing – data collection and analysis

The aim of the course is to provide advanced theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of qualitative research interviews.

The course places particular focus on interpersonal processes during interviews. The course provides advanced skills in the application of qualitative interview methods as data collection instruments, including strategies and prerequisites for qualitative data collection, ethical considerations in qualitative studies, transcription of interview data, and interpretation and analysis of interview data.

This course will be given in the second half of the semester, half-time studies. Main language will be English, but with the possibility to do interview tasks in Swedish or English.
