Leadership and Group Dynamics for Staff in School-age Educare and Schools – VAL
The course is part of the Continuing Education of Teachers and Preschool Teachers (VAL).
The course deals with group processes in after-school centers and schools where power perspectives and communication are important dimensions in teaching. Practical exercises are combined with theoretical reflection and as a student you are given space to reflect on your own experiences.
The course covers:
Theories and concepts regarding leadership, group processes, communication, conflict management and power.
Possible and alternative strategies regarding leadership and conflict management in schools and after-school centers.
The course is given in Swedish.
The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course.
We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course,
your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
