Technology-Enhanced Language Learning and Teaching

In this course, we delve into and problematize current issues in the field of technology-enhanced language learning and language teaching.

The course covers areas such as games and gamification, corpus use, technology-assisted language assessment, flipped classroom methods and digital resources for language learning. We discuss the application of research in teaching practices and investigate the possibilities and limitations of various digital tools and materials.

The course uses Stockholm University's online learning platform, Athena for course information, course activities and assignments.


Teaching Format

Teaching comprises online seminars. The course is taught in English and all scheduled activities are obligatory.


Assessment

The course is examined by oral presentations and written assignments.

Examiner

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.


Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
